It all started thanks to Brett’s sister, Chelsea, and a well-timed volleyball friendship. Fast-forward to the most epic surprise proposal ever. Brett planned an entire road trip to Big Bend National Park without telling Jade where they were going — complete itinerary and all. He rented a glass dome Airbnb under the stars (Big Bend is a national dark sky, after all), and on the very first night, he handed Jade one of his signature love letters — something he always hides in her suitcase when she travels without him. Each letter includes a new song for their playlist, a little love note, and a milestone memory. This one was different. The song was Carrying Your Love with Me, and as it played under the stars, Brett got down on one knee.

Now they’re planning a lifetime of BJ hashtags, matching airport hoodies, and unintentional twinning. It’s been the best adventure yet — and they can’t wait to celebrate with you.
